2. What Data We Collect and Why

2.1 Server Logs

When you visit this website, our hosting provider Netlify automatically collects technical data including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and date and time of access. This data is collected for security and operational purposes.

2.3 Local Browser Storage

This website uses sessionStorage — a browser-based technology — to remember whether you have already unlocked our free downloads during your current browser session. This data is stored locally on your device only, is never transmitted to our servers, and is automatically deleted when you close your browser tab.

SessionStorage is not a tracking cookie and does not collect personal data. No consent banner is required for this use because the data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers.

3. Data Processors

3.1 Netlify (Hosting)

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 44 Montgomery Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. Netlify processes server log data on our behalf. Data may be stored on servers in the United States and the European Union. Netlify participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. 3.2 Brevo (Email Service)

We use Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 7 Rue de Madrid, 75008 Paris, France) to manage our email list and send communications. When you subscribe, your name and email address are transmitted to and stored on Brevo's servers. Brevo processes this data on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement embedded in their Terms of Use.

4. Email Communications and Segmentation

We may use email segmentation to send targeted content based on signup date, content preferences, or engagement behaviour (such as email opens and clicks). This is used solely to send you more relevant content — it does not constitute automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. You can opt out at any time by unsubscribing.

Every email we send via Brevo contains an unsubscribe link. You can also request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us directly.

5. Data Retention

  • Name and email address: Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Deleted within 30 days of unsubscribe or deletion request.
  • Email engagement data (opens, clicks): Retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Server logs (IP addresses): Retained by Netlify for up to 30 days, then automatically deleted.
  • SessionStorage data: Stored locally on your device only. Deleted automatically when you close your browser tab. Never transmitted to our servers.
